Released on Traveller Records in 2010, “313 / The Winter” marked BICEP’s first proper release as producers. Named after Detroit’s area code, the record was conceived as a tribute to the Chicago and Detroit artists and sounds the duo had been obsessing over through the Feel My Bicep blog and their early DJ sets.

Raw and club-focused in approach, the release captured the foundations of BICEP’s early sound while reflecting the influence of classic house and techno records that would continue to shape their music in the years that followed.
