FMB MIXTAPE 292 | Melody
Melody began her journey in 2010, shaping a distinctive sound and identity rooted in the underground. In 2015, she joined the female-only collective RA+RE and co organised the legendary after parties Breakfast club in Paris, before later signing with a UK agency Ninkasi that opened the door to a wider international career. Since then, she has built her path across Europe and beyond, driven by a sharp selection and an instinctive approach to the dance floor. Blending Electro, Progressive House and 90s Techno, Melody delivers energetic, unpredictable sets with a signature all her own.

I’ve just returned from Iceland, where I played at a festival. Traveling somewhere like that for music was amazing. Now, I’m preparing for my first South America tour, which will be another opportunity to discover incredible cultures through music. I’m also launching my own label and an event series, and I’m super excited because it will let me explore new creative dimensions beyond DJing. I’ll be able to spotlight artists I believe in and expand my vision as an artist!
This mix was recorded in London with CDJ and Technics. For this mix I took a step away from the dancefloor energy and crafted something more minimal, with dub influences but always with that grooves that defines my signature.

Before the South America tour, I am gearing up for ADE, which is pretty much the big final festival closing out the season. I’ll do my debut for Love of the Rocks, a really cool party event run by Paramida and a secret set on Monday afternoon in a legendary place. I am super excited!
