Released in the summer of 2015, the Just EP marked the definitive moment Bicep transitioned from respected underground curators to global electronic powerhouses. Stepping away from the raw, analog house of their earlier work, this release on Will Saul’s Aus Music introduced a more polished, emotive, and widescreen sound. The title track, with its signature syncopated vocal chops and melancholic chords, became an immediate anthem, perfectly capturing the duo’s ability to create music that works as well on a headphone listen as it does on a main-stage festival system.
